NIGHTMARE!!!

General comment

Please, do your research before even thinking of applying here. Make sure you read the Rules & Regulations that they will make you sign and understand exactly what kind of degree you're getting. Don't even think about the One Year Courses, with a small portfolio that you can do on your own, you will most likely get directly into the Masters program, as they accept everyone (remember, the SPD Masters is 60 credits, not 120, and therefore not a real Masters Degree, but a Specializing Master Certificate - not the same thing!) If you are interested in getting your Masters Degree in Italy, I suggest PoliMi, or another public university (less expensive, 120 credits, much better education.) Good luck!

General comments about Academic in Scuola Politecnica Di Design Spd

Classes are long and boring. Teachers (with the exception of maybe one or two at best) don't teach - instead, they check your homework while class is in session. Everything you will learn will be thanks to Google, and not this incompetent "school."

General comments about Students life in Scuola Politecnica Di Design Spd

Zero student life unless you create your own and find good people to surround yourself with. If any after school activity will be scheduled, be warned: they are not usually fun (boring talks), and you will be forced to attend whether you can or not, as they supposedly affect your attendance.

ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT: The schedule changes multiple times per week, every week. You can never plan trips/events, as the didactic office constantly adds/reschedules/changes classes last minute. You'll be blessed if a week goes by without a change. It honestly feels like they are trying to make us miss classes, fail, and then pay hundreds of euros for a retake. I know people who are seriously thinking to sue the school for this.

ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The majority of the teachers are disrespectful and even rude and emotionally abusive to students.

General comments about Campus life in Scuola Politecnica Di Design Spd

Nope, nothing... The administration is a mess. The didactic office is incompetent and never helps/accommodates students needs, even in the case of an emergency (they state in the Rules & Regulations that they make you sign that there are certain exceptions made for different cases; I fit into one of those categories and they were incapable of finding a solution for me, which could result in failing the year, in spite of having good grades and good attendance throughout the entire school year.)

Facilities: 3 printers that almost never work (every day something is wrong... every, single, day.) 2 elevators, only 1 works, most of the time :(

None that I know of, unless you're lucky enough to get an internship, which let me stress: it is NOT guaranteed.

General comments about Value for money in Scuola Politecnica Di Design Spd

I would not attend this even if it were free. Worst, most unnecessarily stressful experience of my life. BTW, it does not offer a true Master Degree (120 credits) but a "Master Certificate" (presumably 60 credits, although since it's called a Certificate who knows what it actually is. This is true of most "Specializing Masters" here in Italy; if you want a true Masters Degree, make sure it offers 120 credits (2 years) and that it's internationally accredited.

Never ever go to this school! I have graduated last year and i still cannot get rid of the disappointment of loosing such a long time on this fake pseudo-university. All this people do is getting your money and then trying to get rid of you. Not a single professional teacher. All...

[Beta comment] I love this place and have grown as a person academically and socially here. This university has given me the opportunities and chances to pursue what I love and explore other fields of study I did not even know were out there before coming to school here.
